This was week 9 of the 12 week Root Canal Tour where I was unable to eat solid food for the last half of it due to tooth pain, and consequently kind of miserable. I remember this being a pretty drunk/rowdy crowd, they threw money at me, some of it was even paper. The next day I drove to Bloomington, IN where I bought an Electra copy of a lucite Dan Armstrong guitar for a very low price. and I still regret selling it, but it changed hands circularly until it ended up with my friend Kevin of Growing, so that's nice. Later that night I had a trainwreck show and kicked my bass across the room to the delight of heckling college students. When I arrived at the rest area I was sleeping at, my shoe was full of blood and my toe was grey, and when I woke up in the morning it was black and I was sad. And THAT is the story of how I broke my first toe. The end.
